Dr Ning Chen is Lecturer at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts (China) and Visiting Researcher/ Professor of multicultural education at the University of Helsinki (Finland). Chen has published many articles and chapters about critical and reflexive interculturality and is the co-editor of The Concise Routledge Encyclopaedia of New Concepts for Interculturality (Routledge, 2025, with Fred Dervin and Hamza R’boul). His latest book is titled Intercultural Preparation in Higher Education (Routledge, 2025). Chen is the editor of the Palgrave Book Series on Chinese education with Dervin and Xu.
