Personal profile

Description of research and teaching

My current research interests lie in the area of particle physics beyond the Standard Model. New physics structures are necessary to explain the origin of dark matter and the matter/antimatter asymmetry, as well as to solve other puzzles of particle physics. Such structures may be related to the properties of the Higgs boson, which was discovered recently at CERN and led to the Nobel prize award in 2013. My current work focuses on understanding various aspects of Higgs physics, including its implications for cosmology and particle experiments.

I teach high level particle physics courses (Theories of Particle Physics, Physics beyond the Standard Model, Introductory Particle Physics II, Quantum Statistics).
