Description of research and teaching

Research interests: medical imaging, especially magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and diagnostic ultrasound (US), and image processing. Current research projects include

  • simultaneous electroencephalography (EEG) and functional MRI (fMRI) in presurgical evaluation of epilepsy
  • quality assurance of diagnostic US
  • quality assurance of MRI
  • MR image analysis of patients with iron overload
