Curriculum vitae

Parker Krieg is a postdoctoral fellow in environmental humanities at the University of Helsinki, affiliated with the Humanities Programme in the Faculty of Arts and the Helsinki Institute for Sustainability Science. His research and teaching focuses on twentieth and twenty-first century American literature and culture, environmental justice, and cultural memory. He is a member of the Humanities for the Environment (Circumpolar Observatory), and a Helsinki-team member of the Academy of Finland consortium "iNARR: Instrumental Narratives." He is currently at work on a monograph, A Flexible World: Literature and Environment in the Post-Fordist Era.
