Personal profile

Description of research and teaching

I teach crystallography and mineralogy for the students that start their studies in the field of geology. I'm responsible for the Mineralogical laboratory at the Division of Geology and Geochemistry, which includes the instruments X-ray powder diffractometer (XRPD), wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer (WD-XRF), and electron probe microanalyzer (EPMA). I give courses for Master level geology students that use these instruments, and supervise Bachelor's and Master's theses in which the usage of the Mineralogical laboratory facilities is essential.
