Personal profile

Description of research and teaching

I’m a postdoctoral researcher with a PhD in psychology, working in the Cognitive Brain Research Unit in the Medical Faculty of the University of Helsinki. I’m vice director of the DyslexiaBaby project (funded by the Academy of Finland and Jane and Aatos Erkko Foundation) by Professor Teija Kujala. My PhD docused on the development of auditory skills from infancy to adulthood and how it is shaped by music training. Early auditory skills and their neuroplasticity are particularly interesting to me. I’m currently supervising two PhD theses and several master’s theses in psychology.
