Description of research and teaching
My dissertation study focuses on health and aging in rural South Africa. The study examines the social support networks and care networks of people living with dementia in the Mozambican-origin former refugee communities.
Research interests
My other research interests include social network analysis, community interventions, community work, and social work in Mozambique.
