Sofia Jusslin (Ed.D.) works as Assistant Professor in Education (tenure track) at University of Helsinki and holds a Title of Docent in Literacy Education from Åbo Akademi University, Finland. Her research interests include literacy education, academic writing, writing with AI, arts integration (especially dance), embodied learning, as well as arts-based approaches to teaching literacy, literature, and language. She is a steering group member of the Nordic research network of writing education (SKRiDi), Editor-in-Chief of Journal for Research in Arts and Sports Education, and editorial board member of Dance Articulated. Jusslin is currently the principal investigator of the research project CO-WRITE Collaborative academic writing in hybrid learning spaces in higher education (2025–2027)
