Curriculum vitae
I am a legal researcher interested in the regulation of digital life. My fields of expertise lie in EU law, privacy law, constitutional law and legal theory. I have recently studied the emerging regulations of digitalisation that are being drafted in the EU. It is fascinating to examine the ways in which law and society are intertwined in the era of digital life. My most recent book Private Selves - Legal Personhood in European Privacy Protection analyses the ways in which personhood is constructed in privacy law, especially data protection law.
I am on leave from 1 April 2026 onwards.
