I am Associate Professor in Cultural Heritage Studies, responsible for the Masters-level cultural heritage studies curriculum. My research interests include community engagement in cultural heritage and museums, archaeology and metal detecting, dark/difficult heritage, and heritage crime. I am Principal Investigator on the project SuALT, which is an Academy of Finland consortium project aimed at developing an open source research infrastructure for archaeological discoveries made and reported by the public in Finland.
