Personal profile

Description of research and teaching

I am a doctoral researcher focusing on the systemic support of teachers’ professional learning, with a particular emphasis on the development of their digipedagogical competence. My research explores how teachers assess and develop their digital pedagogical practices within the framework of a city-level digital strategy. I am particularly interested in how long-term support mechanisms can promote professional growth in schools. By analyzing teacher profiles and longitudinal developments in their competence, I aim to contribute to research-based educational policy and the advancement of strategic, city-level planning in digital education.

My work is situated within the EDUCA Flagship doctoral education pilot, funded by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture.

I also work as part of Innokas Network (https://www.innokas.fi/) research group. My short video introduction is available here.
