Curriculum vitae

PhD student in African Studies at the University of Helsinki. Linguistics consultant for the Uganda-Tanzania Branch of SIL International. Current research interests include historical/comparative linguistics, TAM, and verbal semantics. Currently finalizing work on his doctoral dissertation, Aspect in Ikoma and Ngoreme: a comparison and analysis of two Western Serengeti Bantu languages. His master’s thesis, The genetic classification of Wungu: implications for Bantu historical linguistics, was completed at the Canada Institute of Linguistics in 2011.
