Description of research and teaching

I’m interested in understanding how and why organism respond to human-induced environmental changes the way they do, and what the consequences are for populations, communities and ecosystems. You can read more about our research at https://www.helsinki.fi/en/researchgroups/behavioural-ecology

Curriculum vitae

I received my PhD in 1998 from University of Turku, spent one post doc period at University of East Anglia and another at University of Bern. In 2002 I moved to the University of Helsinki, and after a brief period as associate professor at Uppsala University in 2006-2007, took up my present position at University of Helsinki.
