Personal profile

Curriculum vitae

I am a curator at the Finnish Museum of Natural History and I am also Co-PI at BatLab Finland.
My research interests include molecular biology especially epigenetics and evolutionary genetics. My research here at Luomus focuses on:

  1. How bats adapt on a molecular level to different stressors such as climate change, white-nose syndrome and urbanisation
  2. Building genetic monitoring methods for dead wood species
  3. I also assemble reference genomes for several different species
