Technical quality assurance in diagnostic ultrasound

The goal of technical quality assurance (QA) is to provide the user with conformation that an ultrasound (US) equipment is operating correctly. For many years national and international organizations have been involved in the definition and methods for the assessment of the quality of medical US equipment. Still diagnostic US is lacking widely accepted technical QA standards. The purpose of this project is to develop cost-effective technical QA protocol.
