Description of research and teaching
I work as a research coordinator (RESET), with the aim to enhance inter- and transdisciplinary research collaboration on food and water systems within the Helsinki Institute of Sustainability Science (HELSUS), Helsinki One Health (HOH), and Helsinki Inequality Initiative (INEQ) research networks. With a background in environmental sciences, I have spent recent years as a postdoctoral researcher investigating sustainability issues within food systems, particularly focusing on global material flows and international food trade. I am deeply intrigued by systems thinking and am enthusiastic about exploring and enhancing impactful science communication.
