Description (abstract)
The vision of the 3iRegeneration project is to induce new cells in the body through innovative pharmaceuticals. If successful, this will change the treatment of heart and brain diseases and impact on therapeutic markets. The project is led by Professor Heikki Ruskoaho from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Helsinki in Finland. The partners of this Large Strategic Opening are University of Helsinki and Aalto University, combining expertise in areas of life sciences, chemistry, physics, engineering sciences and medicine.
