Description (abstract)
Accountability in Higher Education - comparative study is a part of a research network ‘Transnational Tendencies and Nordic School Development’. The comparative research explores reactions to quality assurance systems based on the Bologna Process in Iceland and Finland. The research will be carried out at two levels: the system level, where the implementation is analyzed by studying legislation, regulations and procedures related to higher education; and the institutional level, that is, how organizations in the respective countries react to these changes. Partner: University of Island.
