Description (abstract)

The project will promote the competitiveness and low carbon economy of the South Savo’s agriculture and food sector. In the project alternative future scenarios of the agriculture and food sector are created and the impacts to sector are examined. The following aspects are examined:
- What kind of business opportunities the scenarios are proposing for milk, organic and horticulture sectors?
- Where to be prepared for?
- What kind of collaboration is needed (across sectors)?
The project is coordinated by Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) and funded by European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
