Description (abstract)

CCSOM develops and tests heliospheric space weather model EUHFORIA (EUropean Heliospheric FORecasting Information Asset). EUHFORIA is a physics-based model of the inner heliosphere (from 0.1 astronomical unit up to about orbit of Mars) developed at the University of Helsinki and KU Leuven. Project is led by Royal Observatory of Belgium and funded by BRAIN-be.
