Project Details

Description (abstract)

In this project, funded by the Academy of Finland, we explore plant-soil feedbacks in urban parks and their influence on soil-derived ecosystem services in Lahti (Finland), Singapore and Baltimore (USA). Furthermore, we study the potential impact of biological and functional homegenisation of soil biota in urbanised settings vs. natural habitats.
