Description (abstract)

The aim of the project is to study the prospects of Electroweak baryogenesis, i.e. the generation of the matter/antimatter asymmetry in the present-day universe during the Electroweak phase transition, in a number of proposed models extending beyond the currently accepted Standard Models of particle physics. Alongside these efforts, a number of other methodologically related topics will be studied as well, including the thermodynamic properties of quark matter at high density.
