Description (abstract)
The Long-Term Ecosystem, critical zone and socio-ecological Research Infrastructure (eLTER RI) is in the preparatory phase to be formally implemented as a pan-European Research Infrastructure. The eLTER RI will comprise about 200 eLTER Sites and eLTSER Platforms from about 20 participating National Research Infrastructures (NRIs) and national networks. eLTER PPP aims at consolidating the
legal, funding and governance structures of the pan-European eLTER RI, together with shareholders from participating countries. It will develop the concepts and measures for data management and standardized observation schemes to be implemented at sites and platforms, provide training and networking tools for site owners, and create an efficient service portfolio for the use of all stakeholder groups.
