Description (abstract)
The main objective of this project is to develop and implement genomic and genetic tools for the study of the Glanville fritillary butterfly. The current main task is to complete the draft genome of the Glanville fritillary, which will greatly facilitate all subsequent studies such as large scale SNP genotyping and expression analyses of natural population samples.
