Description (abstract)
The research aims to bring the expedition’s heritage to the academic use, to achieve its accessibility for the broad audience, and popularisation of Finnish research traditions in South Siberia and Inner Asia.
Key findings
The photographic archive of the expedition, diaries and reports of participants are unique, they describe situation in Russia between two revolutions, caught by researchers traveling across a country in the troubled time.
