The main goal of the project is to support sense of community and inclusion in the rural areas of South Ostrobothnia. The project introduces the new regional planning method called planning for home which is based on experiential home research. This method promotes a sense of territorial cohesion and inclusion in a culturally sustainable way.
The project consists of three main stages. First, regional workshops will be organized for actors in rural local communities. Second, participants are provided with counseling and guidance so that they can go through their own planning process. The third stage is to write a guide of home research and planning for rural developers.
The project is funded by the South Ostrobothnia ELY Center from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
