Description (abstract)
The Impact Project was designed in cooperation between the Media Education Centre of the University of Helsinki, the Finnish National Board of Education and the University of Oulu.
The main aim was to describe, explore and analyze a number of research areas in order to have a critical perspective to the impact of modern information and communication technologies on adult education in general and on life-long learning in particular. In this project the focused research areas were the learning environment, the teacher and the student.
