Description (abstract)

This project promotes the public and private sectors capacity to work together towards developing ecologically and socially sustainable innovations. It also fosters South Ostrobothnia?s sustainable growth and strengthens the cooperation between public sector procurers and enterprises in the transition to a green economy. The goal is a partnership based on shared vision, commitment, learning together and mutual benefit for both parties.

The main target groups of the project are public procurement units or public service units that carry out procurement, as well as SMEs in the food- and care-sector. The indirect target groups of the project are for example networks of companies that act to enable business, such as logistics companies, administration and officials from municipalities as well as policy makers. Also indirect target groups include business developers, advisers and third sector organizations and stakeholders.

VITALI project is funded by the European regional development fund / Regional Council of South Ostrobothnia.
