Project: Other project

Project Details

Description (abstract)

Developments towards increasingly sustainable food systems are particularly visible, exemplary and effective through public procurement and catering services. As public procurement and catering services form a complex professional whole, the developmental aim requires co-learning, co-development and co-innovation whereby different stakeholders can come together for up-grading implementation. This task is taken up in the Baltic Sea Region (BSR) by partners in Finland, Estonia, Poland, Germany, Denmark and Russia in StratKIT project (01.01.2019-31.12.2021 https://www.stratkit.eu/en/), as funded by Interreg Baltic Sea Region, European Regional Development Fund with financial support of the Russian Federation, and with the total budget of 2M€. Together the partners map the current situation and competence pool, model the dynamics of sustainability developments, construct pragmatic tools for implementation and disseminate the take-home message across BSR and wider EU through orchestrated media efforts.
