LUONTI

The project LUONTI (1994 – 2002) (Learning, Understanding and Openness for Nature and Technological Innovations) was founded in autumn 1995 with the aim (i) of creating learning environments where ICT can be used in a versatile way and of conducting educational research into learning in these environments; (ii) of developing learning material and instructional guides, computer programs, interfaces and sensors for the teaching of science and technology; (iii) of developing and organising in-service and pre-service training of science and technology teachers and (iv) of developing modes of interaction between industry and educational institutions.
