Description (abstract)
The project aims to gain deep knowledge on all eligible MPGN patients at Helsinki University Hospital district in which the annual number of renal biopsies is 210-220 making it by far the largest Department of Nephrology in Finland. Better understanding of the etiology is a prerequisite for developing efficient treatments for MPGN and the project may produce unique information on that aspect.
