The aim of the national Food Sector Coordination Project is to support and enhance regional and national development work, to intensify networks and cooperation in the local food, organic and natural product sectors, and at the same time to complement the implementation of programmes related to the themes.
This goal will be met by supporting and enhancing the development activities of the local food, organic and natural product sectors in the regions and nationally. In addition, cooperation and networks will be intensified through the exchange of experiences, learning from each other, sharing good practices and joint development measures. The project disseminates information on research results and changes in the food sector, especially from the perspective of business competitiveness. The project produces information about companies and the development of the food sector, and disseminates it to food sector developers, companies, and financiers, as well as to other sectors.
The target group of the project is regional and national projects, development and operator organisations, funding organisations, food chain operators, research and advisory organisations and authorities. The target group of communications is also indirectly companies, consumers and people who are interested in the sector.
The project communicates through existing channels: Aitojamakuja.fi, Aitoluonto.fi and Proluomu.fi.
