Description (abstract)
A science outreach project to communicate climate change using urban art. A climate mural was painted on a public wall (Kotkankatu 5, Helsinki) depicted the global temperature rise scenarios of 1.5C and 4C.
The mural was designed by INAR and FMI researchers together with the artist from Helsinki Urban Art. A public workshop to paint climate science urban art was organised during the project open to all public.
The wall includes #ScienceInHelsinki hashtag so anyone can contact scientists with questions.
