I have founded R&D Program for Sustainable Development from Eastern Finland to the rest of the Globe with (1) Mr. Mika Vanhanen (Director, ENO – Environment Online) and (2) Ms. Marja Mourujärvi (principal archivist, Juuka Municipality) in 1. 1. 2010. Environment Online - ENO is a global virtual school and network for sustainable development. Over 10 000 schools from 150 countries have taken part since 2000. The ENO programme is coordinated and maintained by ENO Support Association based in the city of Joensuu, Finland. Schools have made concrete deeds for the environment like planted five million trees so far.Prof. Mauri Ahlberg is a member of ENO board of experts. Rural Juuka Municipality has great potential for sustainable development both locally and globally. In particularly collaboration with NatureGate will be developed and researched on.
