The Politics of Conspiracy Theories (SAPO) research initiative studies the circulation of conspiracy theories and consequences to professional media. SAPO is especially interested in the political usage of conspiracy theories and in particular the so called false flag theory in the aftermath of the New Zealand Christchurch terrorist attack. The aim is also to develop international cooperation in the field of conspiracy theories and the media. Funded by Helsingin Sanomat Foundation.
