Abstract

The primary meaning of the Erzya verb "молемс" is 'to move'. The verb indicates an incomplete process, in other words, an ongoing process.
When the word appears on its own, it conveys no meaning of arrival or departure. The adverbials surrounding it provide these meanings. Therefore, when we treat the verb 'молемс', I will deal with it one local case at a time, as they occur in the surrounding adverbial phrases.
