Abstract
Assessment of and for Learning approaches assessment from the perspectives of Finnish basic education and general upper secondary education. The book provides answers to questions that foreign-language readers might have when exploring the Finnish general education system and its student and pupil assessment principles.
The book focuses mainly on assessment in basic education, but also discusses assessment in general upper secondary education and the general education system that Finnish educators conduct in their work.
