Abstract
Delay of healing is variable according to the location of the ring. It usually takes from several weeks to months before complete healing is acquired according to localization (Table 20.1). The longest delay of healing concerns nipple and navel piercings due to the recurrent trauma and friction due to clothing [2-4]. © 2016 by Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.
