Jonathan Hadley

Research output: Book/ReportCommissioned report

Recognising organised 'major events' not only as high risk sites for security threats but also windows of opportunity for the emergence of new forms of policing and development of security in contemporary Europe, identifies and explores four thematic areas for the development of a set of common research standards among the EU-SEC consortium of Member State police authorities. Namely: Use of the European Police College CEPOL; the European Code of Police Ethics; the IPO planning major event security planning model; national level quality assurances of new security products introduced by major events.
