Abstract
This publication is a bilingual Mano–French dictionary, with a brief introduction
containing the basic information on Mano and a French–Mano finder list. The
dictionary is based primarily on the data from the Maa dialect of Guinea. It contains more than 3200 Mano words and expressions translated into French, with dialectal variants, irregular grammatical forms, illustrative examples, collocations, and idiomatic expressions. With minor deviations, the spelling of Mano words is based on notation close to phonological representation, with tones marked as diacritics. The data for the dictionary were collected primarily in Nzérékoré (Forest Guinea) between 2009 and 2022.
