Abstract
This article examines the role of interculturality in the biographies of businessmen and in the creation of compagnies that are famous worldwide. The authors start by reviewing the ways interculturality has been dealt with in research on and practice of business and management. Based on this review, the article describes the meaning and place of interculturality in the biographies of two very important Chinese businessmen (Ma Yun and Ren Zhengfei), who symbolise the « Chinese dream ». Results show that interculturality differs in the way they biographies are constructed and in the way the two businessmen ‘do’ interculturality.
