Abstract

A review. Numerous non-ionic thermally responsive homopolymers phase sep. from their aq. solns. upon heating. Far fewer neutral homopolymers are known to phase sep. upon cooling. A systematic compilation of the polymers reported to exhibit thermoresponsive behavior is presented in this review. Basic properties of aq. solns. of these polymers are briefly described.
