Abstract

In light of the recent discussion among Qumran scholars on forgeries, provenance, and illicit antiquities market, the International Society of Biblical Literature Program Unit “Qumran and Dead Sea Scrolls,” in cooperation with the Working with Cultural Objects and Manuscripts project, set up an online survey for Qumran and Dead Sea Scrolls scholars to gather data in the field regarding the ethics and policies. This poster discusses some of the results of this online survey.
