    Abstract

In large terminological projects like national or corporate term banks, data are delivered by many content providers, and professional terminologists have no time to verify every incoming glossary and every record. Continuous flow of large volumes of data from providers with varying backgrounds and skills highlights the importance of quality assurance in term banks. In this paper, I provide an overview of different aspects of quality assurance in large-scale terminological projects, with a special focus on the components of a terminology management system that are required for performing basic quality assurance of terminological data.
