Abstract

The aim of this poster is to present the current state of a research-oriented chemistry teacher education programme model developed and implemented in University of Helsinki, Finland. The program has been continuously developed since its launch in 2001 (Aksela, 2010). The need for curriculum development is always topical, because chemistry as a science is constantly evolving. A study program for future chemistry teachers needs to address the latest advances on the field.
