Abstract
The work presents in unique depth 75 wild edible plant species found in Finland, almost all of which are common in nature. A few species are in Finland as garden fugitives. The species have been selected in such a way that they have: 1) an internationally long history of use; 2) wide distribution since most have been transported by humans to different parts of the globe, as well as 3) experimental research that shows that they, when consumed in the right way, promote health and longevity.
