Abstract
An account of Timo Soini's populism from his Margaret-Canovan-inspired MA thesis on Finnish Rural Party populism to his MEP years' work Peruspomo (2014), where he accounts his lessons learned in practice. The grip of populism is explored the 1988-2017 period.
