Sanna Ahonen’s PhD thesis highlights the everyday life at the Viikki neighborhood in Helsinki, from environmental sociological point of view. Ahonen has both interviewed the young families with children and measured their real environmental load, as well. The focus is to find out deep structures of Finnish way of life for assessing its capacity to adapt and change into the changing environment
