Compilation of use cases and user stories, functional demands and their analyses for the RI DiSSCo – DiSSCo Prepare Tasks 1.1 & 1.2

The dataset comprises data collected and analyses within the DiSSCo Prepare Task groups 1.1 and 1.2 building on results of other projects. The compilation of use cases and user stories provides a total of 597 and 126 original use cases in Life sciences and Earth sciences, respectively. After refinement and deduplication analyses were carried out using a 317 use cases in Life sciences and 128 use cases in Earth sciences. For all use cases, functional demand categories and subcategories were allocated based on information from the user stories. Definitions for the 35 functional demands categories and subcategories are provided. The data set also contains figures of the analysis of the use cases and user stories.
