Dr Anne Kouvonen is Professor of Social Policy. She is also Honorary Professor in Social Epidemiology and Social Sciences in the Centre for Public Health, Queen’s University Belfast (Northern Ireland).

Anne is one of the WP leaders (PIs) in DigiIN (https://digiin.fi/en/). She is also a Senior Researcher at the Academy of Finland funded Centre of Excellence in Research on Ageing and Care - Migration, Care and Ageing (MICA) research group (https://www.helsinki.fi/en/researchgroups/migration-care-and-ageing).  Anne’s research focuses on the social determinants of health. In particular, she has been investigating employee mental health and socioeconomic inequalities of health. Her other current interests regard ageing; migrant health; digitalisation and social inclusion of migrants. Her research involves the application of social epidemiological methods and administrative record linkage as well as large-scale prospective survey designs and qualitative research.
